I attended the first meeting of 2009, where the rules and schedule were released. We begin racing in May. Right now, I am spending my weekends at home, working hard on getting the truck ready for the 2009 season.
Welcome to the web home of Clancy Motorsports. We just completed our third season in the Mini-Truck division. We ran the Grand Bend home series, and won two features.
2005 was our first year racing anything, but that doesn't mean we were raw rookies. Driver Joel Clancy spent several seasons helping out Brett Shular while he raced 9hp Juniors at Sauble, en route to a championship. After finally wearing down his parents, Joel was up and running, racing 13hp along with Brett and the Shular family in 2005. Joel managed to get a heat win in only his third night (in comparison, only four drivers won races all year! One driver won every feature, the rest got one heat win a piece.) Despite missing two race nights, he managed to finish tied for seventh in points, but got the nod for his win. Special thanks goes out to Brett, Rick, and the entire Shular family. Without them, I would not be racing at all.
